The Appearance settings screen allows the administrator to change global parameters affecting the application appearance and therefore customizing it to specific needs. The following options are available:

Application name

The prefix, that is inserted in front of each page’s title (HTML title). It is shown in the caption of the tab in browsers.

Application banner

Text in the center of the top on screen bar, which is visible on all application pages.

Allows to upload a custom logo = the picture in the top left corner of the screen, visible on all application pages. It is also possible to cancel the custom logo and revert to default SOFiE application logo.

CSS styles

Additional CSS styles, which can be used for changing the appearance of the application. Mainly colors, fonts, but also other aspects. Should be used only by a specialist on web page design well versed in CSS, because it can easily break the application, if used incorrectly.

Welcome page content

Specifies, which screen should be displayed, when opening the application anonymously on the default domain (ie. https://sofie.sonpo.cz/):

  • Upload - form for anonymous package upload (recommended when application is open to public upload), this is the default

  • Login - form for users to login to the application (recommended when application is used mostly internally by registered users)

Display the terms of use

Display the terms of use

If set to YES, the login form will contain a link to view the terms of use. If set to ENFORCE, the terms of use will furhermore be automatically displayed after the login screen is opened. The terms own contents has to be edited in Settings - Templates - TERMS_OF_USE.

Do not repeatedly display the terms of use for

The number of minutes for which the terms of use will not be automatically displayed to the user again, if the previous option is set to "ENFORCE". If set to 0, the terms of use will be displayed on every access.
