Administrator login

The administrator can log in at the application’s base URL /admin (for example https://sofie.sonpo.cz/admin). The following login dialog is shown:

(up to version 2.2.7) After new installation of the application a default administrator’s account “admin” with password “sofieadmin“ is created. This password should be immediately changed, see Change password of an administrator.

(since version 2.2.8) After new installation of the application a default administrator’s account “admin” with a random generated password is created. The password must be reset before a first login to a new random one, that will be shown once in the console, using the following command:

(This also applies to deployments from AWS Marketplace, where the application is already pre-installed.)

After successful login, the Administrator main menu is shown on the left part of the screen, and the Dashboard screen on the right.

Since version 2.5 administrators can also use ADFS and OIDC to login, similarly to users.
