User login options

This screen serves as a basic menu, allowing you to log into the application or select sending a package without login.

There are three basic options (some might not be visible in some configurations):

1. Login as an internal employee – only available if the application’s administrator has linked it to the corporate ADFS user database. If so, click to redirect to the company portal used for this login and then back to the already logged-in SOFiE application. If we have already logged in before and the browser remembers it, your login and access to the application will be automatic.

2. If you are not registered in the application, you can go to the Anonymous upload of a file package. However, it is only possible to send a package anonymously to internal users of the application. Furthermore, this function might not be available, because the administrator can disable it.

3. If you are registered in the application but your account is not connected to the central company ADFS login (see point 1), you log in by typing your username, password and clicking on the login button. To recover a forgotten password a link “Forgot your password?“ can be used, which allows to send a unique password reset link to the user’s e-mail.

If the user has enabled the multifactor authentication, he must enter/use the appropriate key as a next step in the login process.

The login will not work for existing user, if the administrator disallows it for the account.

After logging into the application, the list of user’s received packages will be displayed.
